It's time to fall into Paradise...


Elysion ~ Prelude to Paradise ~ was released on October 27, 2004. Was the first album after their major debut with Bellwood Records. This work was created for new listeners who are not familiar with Sound Horizon style and it was made for the purpose of being easy to understand.


It was composed of a collection of popular songs from albums released before debut + pre-release versions of two songs, which will be included in the forthcoming album.

 The album came only with a booklet, no other extra on this time.

  • According to Revo's interview with 'Anikan R Music' Vol. 2 released in 2007 translated by Moko-chan. Revo said he would had preferred this release to be a Concept Album. And would had made a Thanatos 2nd and Lost 2nd if they didn't sign with a label.

  • Release commemoration event:
    On November 21th the "Elysion - Prelude to Paradise -" release commemoration event was held at the stores "YAMAGIWA SOFT" and "Toranoana", in Akihabara, Tokyo.
    Revo and Aramary participated, sang <The Knights of the Rose> with fans, and live performed <The Day I Shot My Lover Down> Acoustic Version for the first time.


    In addition, they spent time talking, receiving questions from fans, and held a gift lottery. Also they handed out autographs and 'Knights of the Rose' badges to fans.

  • Reservations and Ranking:
    In September 2004 after the news of the decision to make a commercial debut and the scheduled release of "Elysion - Prelude to Paradise -". It ranked first in the number of reservations on Amazon Japan pre-order list.

    The album reached No. 14 on the ORICON STYLE Daily Albums Chart on the day of its release, and No. 35 on the weekly chart one week after its release.

  • Re:Master Project: This album, along with 10 others, was remastered on July 29, 2020 for the Sound Horizon's 15th Anniversary. It came with a postcard draw by Yokoyan.
