In 2012, Revo began a new project called  Linked Horizon, that would separate his production of music from his main project Sound Horizon, since Sound Horizon is when he is creating original stories, and Linked Horizon is when he is doing a collaboration with other works. (In Revo's words)

The name comes from the concept of "linking" to worlds from other media (e.g., games, manga, anime) and presenting these worlds via the music that Linked Horizon creates.

This project began in 2012 with the OST for the Nintendo 3DS game Bravely Default: Flying Fairy.
In 2013, Linked Horizon performed the opening themes for the 2013 anime adaptation of Attack on Titan

On November 25, 2012 at the Yokohama Arena, was held the Linked Horizon BRAVELY DEFAULT Concert with the Tokyo City Philharmonic Orchestra, it featured music from Luxendarc Shoukikou, Luxendarc Daikikou and the Bravely Default: Flying Fairy Original Soundtrack.
